We understood that due to a stop codon in the intron 7 sequence, the Isoform-IR can not be translated until the end. The FH domain in the Isoform-IR is not complete, due to the fact that the intron do not participate in it. It’s thus likely that the IR is not acting properly as a transcription factor since the DNA binding domain is not complete.

I would say that the FoxP-iIR do not act as a transcription factor, due to the fact that the FH domain is not complete and the intron do not participate in the FH sequence
